The project will investigate implementation of 5G connectivity in Energy sector and develop a framework to facilitate the evolution of NetApps, fostering access to new markets.
The key targets of the SMART5GRID “Demonstration of 5G solutions for SMART energy GRIDs of the future” underpinning experimentation with a fully softwarised 5G platform for the energy vertical industry are to provide start-ups and newcomers with the opportunity to accelerate their growth in the high impact industry of the energy vertical.
